Unbabel named in top three ‘hottest’ European scale-ups at TNW Conference 2019

London, UK; Lisbon, Portugal. 9th May 2019. Unbabel, the leading enterprise multilingual support provider, has been named as one of Europe’s top scale-ups as part of the ‘Tech5’ Awards at TNW Conference 2019.

The Tech5 is a yearly competition organised by TNW and Adyen. It showcases the hottest young scale-ups in all European countries and Israel based on their performance, growth, and potential. Criteria include notable investment rounds, team growth, media coverage and social impact.

100 companies gathered in Amsterdam for the final stage of the awards. Unbabel was named as a runner-up alongside Belgian company Unifly, with Danish company Too Good To Go winning top prize.

Tech5 alumni finalists have collectively raised more than €13B in funding over the last five years.
