SkySparc Invests in Patch Upgrade as-a-Service with New Head

Stockholm, Sweden, June 05, 2019 –(– Pejer joins SkySparc as head of Quality Center, a centralized unit with dedicated staff and resources solely focused on patch upgrades. He spent eight years at TradeTech Consulting / Virtusa(1) as a senior and then managing consultant, having previously worked as a systems manager at SEB, the European Central Bank and Sveriges Riksbank.

As a specialist provider of upgrade services since its foundation, SkySparc launched Patch Upgrade as-a-Service to better leverage the firm’s deep collective experience, proprietary methodology and test library, and OmniFi’s automated testing capabilities. This structured, streamlined approach lowers operational risk, reduces project times for clients, and improves security by enabling them to undertake upgrades more frequently.

SkySparc doubled the number of patch upgrades conducted for clients in 2018, with the Patch Upgrade as-a-Service methodology becoming widely adopted, achieving savings in excess of 30% for some service subscribers.

“SkySparc’s unparalleled reputation for delivering efficient, automated patch upgrade projects is well earned,” said Pejer. “I look forward to working closely with the team and clients to further refine and develop our upgrade services.”

SkySparc CEO Joakim Wiener said: “Clients across all segments are now appreciating the cost-efficiency and security benefits of SkySparc’s Patch Upgrade as-a-Service. Torbjörn is highly experienced and has a deep understanding of how to deliver high-quality patch upgrade services to a demanding, top-tier client base.”
