Megapulse's general area of business is low frequency radionavigation, position-fIxing, orientation and time transfer systems, with primary product and service lines in Loran. Since the 1970s, all Loran transmitter systems installed are of Megapulse design. The Company’s core business is within three areas:

Loran and eLoran systems (transmit side);
eLoran user equipment products and technologies (user side); and
Loran system services.

Historically, large systems such as Loran were implemented as Government projects. Today’s trend is towards a model of service provision. The very high reliability of systems and remote control capability for unattended operation eliminates the need for dedicated site technicians to support the equipment. Instead of major facility infrastructures, rapid deploy shelter systems are the way forward. Examples of system services include the following:
